Determine why you hate your job
Sometimes there might be a specific reason you hate your job. Other times, there could be many small ones. It’s worth sitting down and thinking about why you hate your job so much. Did you know that, in some cases, you could make small changes at work to love your job once again?
Having a different routine or avoiding talking to people that annoy you could help. As can focusing your energy on getting your work done quicker or in a different way. Of course, there will be times where you can’t change the people you work with, and so the only option is to leave.
Come up with an exit strategy (if you need to leave)
There will be times where you’ll have no choice but to head towards pastures new. If you’ve made up your mind and decided that you need to quit, you need to come up with an exit strategy.
It’s tempting to go up to your boss and tell them what they can do with their job, but it’s better to not part on bad terms. Instead, you should focus your energy on devising how and when you will quit your job.

For instance, if you wanted to move to another company, you’ll need to apply for jobs until you get offered one. And if you wanted to work for yourself, you’ll need to research your new business idea.
Starting a new business
The prospect of working for yourself will sound like an exciting one! There’s no denying that setting your own working terms is a better idea than being a “wage slave.” It’s worth bearing in mind that you’ll need to do plenty of research before you decide to make such a leap of faith.
After all; the last thing you want to do is start a business and have it fail after just three months. There are three common ways to start working for yourself; they are as follows:
1. Become self-employed. It’s the simplest way to enter the business world. All you need to do is register the fact with your local tax authorities;
2. Set up a company. You’ll need an accountant to help you set it up and manage it. But, it’s useful if you want to get large corporate clients;
3. Become a franchisee. You could set up a business using an established brand, products and services! For instance, a CertaPro franchise is useful if you want to offer painting services.

As you can see, there are plenty of things you can do instead of staying in a job that you hate. It’s worth trying to fix any problems you’ve got at your current employment. But, if you’d rather leave, think about which exit strategy is best for you.
